mr. Chan Ying Tat, former principal of Malacca High School passed away yesterday. He was Malacca High school principal from 1972 to 1985. He was a former Malacca High student and the first former student to be appointed as principal of his alma mater.
He was the longest serving principal and during his tenure, the school celebrated her 150 th. Anniversary and the school hall was opened in 1984.
